This is an easy kids’ favorite and a default often in our home.
There are several adaptations I will share with you to make this either a side dish or the whole meal by itself!
As A Side Dish…
2 T canola or olive oil
1.5 cups brown rice, cooked earlier that day or day before
2 sheets Nori seaweed, shredded with scissors
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tsp black sesame seeds
2 scallions, white parts only
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat olive oil, then add rice and salt and stir until warm.
Add nori, sesame seeds, oil and scallions then remove from heat.
Serve and enjoy!

As The Whole Meal
Scramble 2 organic eggs
Dice 1/2 carrot
Sliver a handful or snow peas or spring peas
Cut one thumb’s worth of fresh garlic
Gomasio seaweed salt
Cook eggs in organic canola, and saute carrots on the side with peas and garlic. Shake in Gomasio seaweed salt to taste. Add whole egg mixture with the rice mixture above and enjoy!!!
