Easiest Pasta with Tomato Sauce Ever

  • 2  14 oz. Cans of crushed fire roasted tomatoes
  • 3-4 cloves of fresh garlic peeled and finely chopped
  • Organic olive oil
  • ½ cup pitted black olives
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ¼-1/2 teaspoon Italian dried red pepper  flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Whole grain spaghetti for four

Saute lightly the garlic in three tablespoons of olive oil

Add the canned tomatoes and simmer with lid on for 5 minutes

Add the black olives

Add the oregano, salt and pepper,  and red pepper flakes and simmer with the lid on low for 5 -10 minutes

Cook the whole grain pasta according to directions until al dente

Add some cooking water for the pasta to the sauce if it is too thick

Drain the pasta

Serve immediately with the tomato sauce
