I received this book in a giveaway at Goodreads. The book is a easy to read and understand book designed to help parents feed their families healthy food. I found the book to be a very fast read. The information was easy to absorb. There was a section that briefly broke down some food prices for healthy meals vs fast food. While I “know” this information having it written down did make an impact. In the back of the book are some recipes that look good. I plan on trying the white bean chicken stew recipe.
There were some quirky things in the book, at one point beer is included in a list of crops. Last time I checked beer isn’t grown.
Overall I think this book would be a nice beginning book for healthy family eating.
